Pique student interest with exciting daily announcements! Display a small chart tablet, dry erase board, or laminated poster near the doorway of your classroom titled “Today’s Special.” We’ve created 4 different sized signs you can use. Advertise one especially kid-pleasing activity or event that you have planned. Examples could include a guest visit, the reading of a new book, a special snack or a fun craft. Anticipation will be high when students arrive! We found this cute calendar stand to use for this activity. Maybe you or someone you know has something similar lying around in the basement or attic.
